Meet Manisha Bhalla DMD - Poughkeepsie Dentist
Manisha graduated from the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine with a DMD in 2010. Prior to graduating from The University of Connecticut, Manisha received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2000 from Punjabi University, India. Thereafter, Dr. Bhalla completed one year of General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Queens in 2011. She is certified by NYS in Conscious enteral sedation through oral sedation and nitrous oxide which allows her to treat many fearful and anxious patients. Manisha has an extensive experience in both hospital and private setting. She has been in private practice as a family dentist for four years in the Hudson Valley, working for a leading dental practice in Woodstock, NY where both children and adult patients adored her. She shares a great relationship and rapport with most of the area specialists. Manisha is passionate about crown and bridge, restorative dentistry, cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, Invisalign, smile designing and makeover and has been mentored by leaders in the field. Manisha has trained in cosmetic dentistry at the
Rosenthal Institute Aesthetic Advantage Continuum. This training in cosmetic dentistry is directed by Dr. Larry Rosenthal and is one of the best programs in the US. Additionally, Manisha is certified in Dental care for the Developmentally Disabled program, from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine and is a certified Invisalign provider.
Manisha prides herself to base her philosophy on treating patients as she would treat her own family and creating lasting relationships based on trust. Her focus is on patient comfort and providing a great experience. She keeps up with latest technology and techniques and actively participates in continuing education to provide the latest and greatest in dentistry to her patients. She is an active member of International Congress of Implantologists.
In her free time, Manisha enjoys camping/ hiking, walking the rail trails, visiting local farms, artists, and antique shops, arts, and crafts, reading, traveling, meeting new people and exploring new cultures and adventure sports.
